No License Plate Lights or Trunk Lights

My Trunk Lights and License Plate Lights stopped working on my 95 C280. The bulbs and fuse is good. But, Im not sure if another fuse is causing the problem. Ohm tested both and found no power is reaching them.. What should I test next?

Glove box and all interior lights are working. Help!!

Have you tried the search feature yet? I seem to recall someone posting a similar problem and there was some common wiring fault. Now that I think about it, the problem might have been limited to one side.

Thanks Mike.. Yes I searched and only found unrelated problems with fuses on other Mercedes. Im really trying to isolate the problem; Fuse, Bulb, Wiring and such. If I could just figure out what causing the power failure to just two items and nothing else.. Both in the trunk.. Really puzzled

Thumbs up

Found the problem. The wires were cut inside of the cover mid-way the trunk. Dont know how this happened but I was very happy to find it. As I was tracing the ground wires, I found one loose wire while pulling it for some slack up in the trunk by the rear seat. Then I tried the other wires; all were cut 6" down the cover tube. I repaired all of the lines and now I have license plate lights and trunk lights!!!
