Child Lock Switch
The child lock switch on my 1997 C280 popped out. I put it back in it's slot but the rear windows will not function.
Is there a repair for this? Is the switch replaceable? |

Would need the whole switch pack. Sometimes these are affordable, sometimes not. DIY installation, pretty simple. Can you use a small nail to flip it back where it belongs? I thought the knob itself came off and would be simple to snap back on, maybe yours is broken in a different place.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "use a nail"?
The switch has a small roller type mechanism attached to the bottom. |

K I thought it was a small plastic shaft that went down into the switch itself, and usually the knob comes off this shaft, figuring the shaft itself broke and maybe you can nudge the part that slides back into the proper position, using a nail or other slim pointy object.
