Thumbs up Syn compressor oil for R12?

Where can one pick up some of this? And anyone recommend a brand over another?

Seems the syn is better from what I understand.

Hey Hitman -

Since you're in the metromess, you can get it at McCain's in Richardson. They are a very good a/c parts/service shop. Mark sells synthetic oil packaged into 8oz squeeze bottles. Works with both R-12 and R-134a, which is handy. I forget exactly what brand it is.They are located behind TI at LBJ & Central. This is the place where larry & I shop.
