After replacing the guide rods of my 300Se (W126) it has to be aligned.
The local dealer only does the toe-in, not camber and castor so I have to go to an independent shop.
Last time I went there the steering wheel was way off centre. The corrected this by repositioning the steering wheel.
I would like to make a steering position check screw to take to the shop.
For this I need the dimensions and tread of this screw.
Since I am (very slowly) recovering from an unfortunate contact with a tick I am at the moment not able to get under the car myself. Can anyone help me?
