Sounds like you have a defective combo switch.

Search this forum , it's on the menu above.

Enter Combo Switch. You will find some information.

Next do a Google search on Combo Switch Mercedes or other similar words.

Note: Unless you are an advanced Do It Yourself mechanic, this may be one for a shop. Think Explosive Air Bag in Steering Wheel.
