W126, driver door handle removal?
I need to pull mine off to replace that microswitch for the locks.
Obviously the panel has to come off and whatnot, but what am I missing to let it come off the rest of the way? It's loose but will not come out the rest of the way...

If it's similar to a W140 door lock, the microswitch should be on the lock mechanism, not on the door handle.

Is there anything listed in the Braingears site on where to pop off that microswitch?

I don't believe the microswitch is a separate part. It's part of the lock assembly, which is very expensive. (It's $920 for a W140, that I know about).
Make sure the problem is not caused by something simpler, broken wire etc. |

Hrm, I'm almost certain it is the switch. All wiring is intact and all. Vac locks work properly from passenger side (trunk's plastic connector is broken only).
