Question 1999 230 slk

I need help, my battery was dead, jumpstarted car, now it has a cycling idle and the throtle does nothing. I disconnected battery for 5 minutes and still now help...Any clues?

I used his paint and it's a dead on match on my '98 SLK230.

Did you replace the battery? Old batteries get lead deposits on the bottom as the battery ages and overtime short out. You may have been able to jump start the car but the short can be causing other problems. If you call MB Roadside Assistance, tell them you are having battery problems and they'll bring out a battery, test the system and charge you only for the battery and you don't even have to leave your house.
