Question Mercedes diesel in a Model A

Hello guys, been here before asking questions about putting a 5 cly diesel into a '36 Ford truck and a 4 cly out of a '80 240D into a Model A PU. I've started on my Model A project. I've got it mocked up and it looks O.K. except for the oil filter. Does anyone have any ideas on how to relocate it to a remote location? It is right at the firewall and if I recess my firewall for clearance, I still don't have enough room to be able to lift the filter out. I'm going to pull the assy off the block to see if there is a way of tying onto whatever is there to try to relocate it. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks, Joe.

just a thought but look into a oil filter housing, if not just the lid from a 603 engine, the center shaft comes out first, then lid comes off seperatly.
