Abs
Hi all ,
Me again ............. my ABS light is on in my dash , I took it to get looked at and they told me it was a bad module ?? is that something expensive ?? can it be changed is ?/ and how much do they run ? Thank You |

What about the ABS sensors at the front wheels? they get dirty and can cause the light at the dash to go on.
Check there first. Jim Note to self: Yippeee, 500 posts. I don't know much but you guys keep me interested. Great group of folks here, really worth the time spent - and money saved too and the laughs had, friends made!!!

What about the sensors?
Do you suppose your WAG on this ford is better than someones elses WAG.?

Its not the sensers
I had then checked before , when my convertible stopped going down ,, but now once again the top isn't going down again , because the ABS kight is back on .

I have a similar ABS light problem. It comes on and goes off at random, sometimes often and others, not. When it comes on there is an immediate and obvious drag on the engine, whether driving or sitting at idle, that goes away the instant the light goes out. Is this an alternator drag? What might the problem be?
