battery dead cant get in trunk car wont start
here is my complicated problem.I ran almost all of the gas out of my 98 c230 i did not drive or start the car for 6 months after i filled the tank up with gas.when i attemted to start the car at the gas station i would not start or turn over.i had it towed back to my house and left it as is for anothr 6 months.now my battery is dead and i cant get into the trunk? what should i do.I still dont know why the car stopped running

I assume that you can get under the front hood of the car....
Being VERY CAREFUL, I would use jumper cables to put 12 volts from another good battery to ground and the big starter cable on the car. This should power up the car to allow you to open the trunk

Why don't you use the metal blade key (the one that slides into the remote)? If you lost it, just go to your dealer and have them order one.
