idle control unit replacement-1985 380sl

I took my idle control unit off through my glove compartment because I was experiencing fluctuating idle from750-1500 rpm. The control valve checks out ok so it leaves me with the idle contol unit as the potential problem. When I looked for a replacement unit online I found the VDO brand and other brands that have only a 10 pin connection-mine has 12 pins. In the picture it looks like there is no pin for # 12 AND 10 on the unit. Is this alright to replace my old unit with this 10 pin unit? What does the # 10 and 12 pin do? Please respond asap as I have the unit off and would like to order a new or used one right away. Btw, my control unit is a Bosch Gerblaseregler 12v - there is two sets of #'s 1147 328 026 and 000 822 1103

Thanks, Kerry
