Dtc 14 94 E320

I have an E320 that doesn't want to start. It cranks OK. I am getting a dtc 14 which is "Intake manifold pressure at start too low"....what does that mean and where should I look for the fault? Thanks

Weird, never heard of that. Maybe it means there is a major vacuum leak somewhere. What module was that code in, the engine control module, or the DM, or the EA or somewhere else? Guessing problem is with the throttle actuator or maybe a broken vacuum line to the brake booster?? Hmmmm

No code from 14 from DM on 94 E320.

Recheck/recount the code and tap the OVP relay for restart try..

The first time it happened I had my son manually move the throttle cable under the hood as I cranked the engine and it started right up. So it must have something to do with the throttle. This has worked a couple of times. Then to-day it just stopped as I was driving...but started when I tried it as the car was rolling in neutral. Any ideas??

In front of the battery there is a connector, X11/4...this car has a button and an LED that pulses the code count.

Ok
That is the DM module and your car does not have a 14 code.
..so, if you redo it and get the correct pulses, we may be able to help you.

Not sure on Canada ...where did you get the code chart from??
I would still check it again. Although I would also tap the OVP relay.. that is a common cause for your problem................
