The car does not start in P but it does only in N.
Also in park position, the car still moves if is on a slope forcing me to use the emergency brake.
What do you think? Coud be the bushings..the neutral switch ...or other think that cost big$$$$?

How far does it move?
Does it eventually clunk into park if it rolls a bit?
Could be a neutral safety switch, or bent linkage , or serious trans issues.
Need more info.

OK, which car? Also, check Braingears for the Neutral Saftey switch wiring diagrams. Look under the car to see if the bushiings need to be replaced.

Currently 1965 220Sb, 2002 FORD Crown Vic Police Interceptor

Had 1965 220SEb, 1967 230S, 280SE 4.5, 300SE (W126), 420SEL

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952.

The car is 300E 2.8 M104 engine and 722.433 trany.
The car moves as far as I will let it go...when in P and on incline. I don't know where to look for Bushings but I just order them from fast lane including the switch.
