Oil Sending Unit

89 300TE please can someone tell me where the oil sending unit is located. Also, cna some one tell me where to get the puller needed to remove rear diff supports.

Oil level sender is I believe on the left (drivers) side of the oil pan, has a single wire leading to it.
Not sure on the support tool, it does seem to me that they can be chiseled/punched out if the differential is removed, but not sure.
