This is for a 1983 240D.
The black surround around the rear bumper is crackled. The plastic/rubber material is intact, but the finish is black with gray/yellow crackles in it. Does anyone know of or recommend a solution for this? It seems like painting with a flat or even semi-gloss paint would not even come close to matching in color and probably would not stick. I am guessing that the only solution is to replace the part, but I thought I would ask. |
