'93 Mercedes 300e Engine Wiring Harness

I have to replace my engine wiring harness. Does anybody know where I can get it cheaper than $680? I believe this is pretty cheap for this part (from All OEM Auto Parts.com).

... then wait for nothing to happen. $680 sounds like a good price.

Regardless of my cheeky response, please submit a complaint to the NHTSA. It'll help with the number of complaints. Make sure you emphasize the safety aspect of this problem, i.e., stalling in traffic, possible underhood fires, and not the economic aspect of it.

Thumbs up

thanks for clarifing for me. that is exactally what I should have said. so many times I see people with this problem who just want to fix it; when they have this problem i wish they would send a letter to both. i understand wanting to get the problem fixed as quick as possible and with the least amount of hassle, but it would really help the cause of others if they would just take a minute to write a letter. Who knows, keep the receipt in your mercedes file and someday if they extend a recall maybe we can all get reimbursed.

Thanks for the help. I'll probably order it for $680.
