W220 Front Ball Joint Replacement How-to's 2000 S430

Wondering how hard is it to change the front ball joint on my 2000 S430 W220? Once in a while, when I turn the wheel while backing up, I hear a popping sound. Don't happen all the time, probably once every week or so...

I saw there is a ball joint removal tool made specifically for the W220... anybody know the exact procedure?

Please help!!! Thanks!
