Leak in the fuel filter???

I just replaced my fuel filter(damn its hard to crawled under the car)after observing the filters i found out that i have a leak in the small canister(fuel pump,fuel filter,small canister????)does this small canister have a o-ring and what do you call this small canister?.The leaked is on the fitting,should i over tighten the nuts?.BTw i have a 1993 2.6 190e.Thanks
