I did pull the plug and they didn't come on.

As for the other things, there are so many connections in the engine bay, I don't want to start pulling plugs because I don't know what they are for. It's hard to know what I'm looking for without pictures.

I've read that the fans are wired separately. Something somewhere is burned out because both fans aren't working.
