W210 E55 No start
Hey all;
I could use some help/advise here- 2000 E55, 60K Miles. I don't know if these issues are related, but here goes- Wednesday: No problems. Get my new wheels/tires from a 2006 E55 and install them. After install, I hear a clicking noise from the right rear. Gets worse going left, almost goes away heading right, then goes away completely. These is nothing on the tire, but it sounds like there is and it is hitting in inner wheel well. Sometimes there on restart, sometimes not. Friday: Got K-MAC alignment bushings had them installed and the car aligned. Worked out perfectly. Later that day - car cranked for a while longer than normal, then started. Saturday: Normal cold start, ran a few errands. Go to get the kids Pizza, cranks, but no start. After 10+ tries, car starts. Back at home, rests for night. Sunday: normal cold start. Wife go shopping 5 minutes from house. car sits 30 minutes, cranks, no start. After 30+ tries, car starts and gets home. So, we still have the right rear clicking noise that eventually goes away, and what seems to be a hot no start condition. Could it be the CPS, even though the car runs fine once it starts and has not died while running? Maybe the fuel pump? Suggestions? TIA Gary in NY
