Lower Control Arm Bushings - 2000 E320 4Matic Wagon

I've just had the car PPI'd by my mechanic, who specializes in Mercedes (his wife has the same car). I was not present for the PPI as I trust him. He has let me know about a problem that I don't understand. He has told me that there is hydraulic oil leaking from a lower control arm bushing. I didn't realize that the LCA bushings had hydraulic oil in them. Is this correct?

In the W140's they are fluid filled. Wouldn't surprise me if they were on the W210 as well.
