89 300e wont start?

This looks like the right place. I have a 300e that was just bought, not currently running. Previous owner said that to fix an idle problem he replaced the idle air control valve. Ran great for about 10 min. then died and has not started since. He got frustrated (and I see why) so he sold it. I checked iacv's both new and old and they appear to be working fine. Dont know if story is true or not but I do have very good spark and gas appears to be getting to cylinders. Cranks over like a charm, just will not start........Any ideas?
Crankshaft Position Sensor? Gas APPEARS to be getting to the cylinders, or gas IS getting to the cylinders?
