1985 190E won't start
1985 190E will not start, but when fuel is put into intake will run then die. I've changed the fuel filter, also disconnected larger line at front of distrubution block and when pump comes on theres plenty of fuel. Is there anyway to test block or is there something else I should be looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

190E Won´t Start
Sounds like there is a lack of pressure in the injection system. This could
be verified by a pressure test. Has to be done by a shop that has a tester. Swapping out parts is a wast unless you have access to a scrap yard supplied with Bosch systems. Buying new parts would cost a fortune. |

"bbu" is most likely correct...
That & all cis injected cars use very high fuel pressure.. at least 80psi. Disconnecting the fuel line doesn't show much difference between 40psi & 100psi...but cis injectors won't even open untill there is around 55-60psi at the injector. Have the fuel system pressure checked.
