Cooling Problems
I am looking at an 86 300E, it seems to be in good shape except for the cooling system, the system wont pressurize and if driven for any length of time it will over heat!!!! Radiator? Cracked Block? Thermostat? Radiator Cap??
Any ideas?? Should I run the other way?

Even if you replace every replaceable(sp?) piece of the cooling system it won't cost a fortune. The caveat in this case is how frequently and how severely this engine has overheated. Once you fix the cooling issues, how long before you have to pull the warped head and blown head gasket?
