ABS Light on

Have been driving quite a lot lately. ABS was coming on at start up once in awhile then will not come back on for days. Well that was the case until last wednesday no light stays on all the time. Any thoughts. Sensor !!

usually it comes on if ur battery charge is getting low. I had a problem with my abs light flickering while i'd drive, and my problem turned out to be a faulty OVP. So you might want to look into both of these items.

YEAR/MODEL???

Commonly it's caused by bad sensors located behind the front wheels.

Smile Thanks

First I'll check the OVP. Then on to wheel sensor.

Thanks Gents.

Checked OVP, seems to be OK, pulled both top fuses(red), Idle went down and back to normal as soon as placed back in. I checked dash ABS light after this and it had gone out. Now a external bulb seems to be out as per the dash light that is on now, so replaced two bulbs, front marker left and rear fog right side, front marker ok, but rear fog has no power to it. Left rear fog light comes on, any thoughts?

When my OVP went, the fuse never went on the OVP. The fuse always remained perfect, yet it was the unit it self internally had faltered. It took over 6 months to figure this problem out since the fuse was never blown, it was when my indy mechanic ripped my ovp apart and found lose solder that it finally was figured out. So i wouldn't rule it out that quick, its a common failure part.
