W124 Speed Sensor Question

Quote:
Thanks for your Yellow Box order. Before we can ship your Yellow Box
I need you to confirm which speed sensor your Mercedes uses. Does your
Meceded use a 2-wire inductor type speed sensor, or a 3-wire hall-effect
type sensor?
Its a hall sensor isn't it?

Wiring diagram shows 2 wires going to the speed sensors, so 2 wire.

A hall effect sensor at the speedo on the W124 cars with speedo cable has 2 connectors!
One with 2 pins & also a single pin connector.....3 wires total.

I was assuming you were asking about the wheel speed sensors? Maybe this is something else (speedo get it's signal elsewhere?). I did look it up for the correct car.

This is for a differential swap. I'm changing the gearing.
