Question

2000 s500

for a 2000 s500 does anyone know if a used key for/remote can be reprogrammed? if yes can you tell me how?

THe dealer does it. Although I am not sure - MY 03+ keys could not be reprogrammed due to different key system (it looks the same though)

MB smart keys MUST be ordered from MB!!! Your dealer will probably ask for proof of ownership before placing the order. Used keys (like from ebay) can not be re-programmed. Don't waste a dime on used keys.
