Cat Replacement Question?

1990 300e with a dead cat and o2 sensor, per my tech. (No check engine light!!!...but that's for another day)

Im looking for a replacement Cat on a budget...and it seems a Magnaflow ($80) will do the trick...if it can be welded in to the existing pipes, down from the engine, and then back towards the mufflers/exhaust. I know...you only get what you pay for, but then I wouldnt be having this bunch of problems if it were always true, this car wasnt exactly cheap.

Any thoughts on that sort of Cat?

I installed an aftermarket cat ( Walker ) on my truck 7 years ago, and still breeze through my emissionstest every 2 years.
Don't think I would spend the big bucks on a OEM cat for a 16 year old car, unless I planned to keep it " forever ".
