Trans Fluid Capacity- W126-560SEL

I am scared that the 560 is overfilled with trans fluid, so what is the correct amount that is to be put in after the pan is drained? Also, is it possible to drain the torque converter, and if so, how is the plug accessed? Finally, do any of you guys think that adding something like LubeGard or Lucas Trans Fix to this tranny (150k miles) would help it out a little?
Thanks, Dave.

approx 7.25qts if you drain the torque converter.easy way to find drain plug is to have a helper at front of engine with large 1/2inch rachet and socket[27mm or 1 1/16in] to turn engine slowly while you watch for drain plug at bottom of bell housing.plug is 3mm allen i think.if it is overfilled there is a vent at top about halfway along and fluid out of there will make you think its a leak.lucas trans fix is good stuff.

Well, I thought that it might involve turning the engine. Is there a place on the harmonic balancer or crank snout pulley that you put the ratchet into to turn it or do you have to remove the pulley or balancer?
Thank you for your info

the bolt in the centre of the crankpulley is 27mm and you need a deep socket and swivel head rachet.if these not available you can get large screwdriver-flat head and pry the tc around at the bellhousing.
