No the W140 is a bit to tall. They are about as long and wide as the W126, just taller.

But 4 inches too tall? That's a lot. Take 4 inches off and you have a Mitsubishi Eclipse, or a 6.3 with no air.

After reading that article and I looked closely at a few w140s, and although I never noticed before, I think Mr. Sacco was right - the w140 does look rather tall from a design POV.
