crystal clear eurolights?

What do you all think of those Crystal clear Eurolights that are being sold on places like Ebay? I am pondering replacing my stock American headlights on my 260E with eurolight cause they are nicer. But I see many crystal-clear compares to the ordinary eurolight. Are the crystal clear better? i.e. more light at night? What are teh pro and cons of each?

You want Euro headlights, but I wouldn't get them from Ebay. You're more likely to find misfitting trash there than something decent. The quality of the lens and reflector are paramount.

Euro lights have a nice pattern, similar to what we now get in new cars. Sealed beams are trash.

Best source for Euros

What is the best source for Euro version headlamps? I'll check with Caliber motors tomorrow to see what they quote me. I'm sure it'll be a lot. I know of at least one individual who can get them direct from Germany. I guess I'll have to check around and find the best price from the few places I know of. And then make sure the items are the correct ones. Speed Autoteile has them in Germany also.

Regards,
Jason

Wow, Katmac's site is all that. The prices are the same as Bekkers and others. I imagine to ship from Germany makes the Autoteile prices the same too.

The clear euro-style headlights offered at e-bay are usually imported from Hong-Kong or other countries in Asia. Their quality is horrible.

Try also www.************************
