Lets Give out some thanks here

Recently I had some problems that had symptoms of a bad alternator. Some very helpful people on this site pointed me in the direction of the voltage regulator and saved me several hundred dollars. Its the people that contribute and help people that make this site invaluable. I am starting this thread as a thank you site for the help given with each problem.

I also would like to thank the guys here. This site is very full of useful information, especially for someone like me who has always had american cars and now trying to refurbish an 89 300se.

Thank you guys.

Yes indeed. There have been many times that I have gotten alot of helpful advice that has helped me.

Most recently, my power steering gear box seal blew a gasket and I got alot of info here about it. Thanks to Sixto, gmercoleza and Hatterasguy for some helpful info on that mishap. Sorry if I left anyone else out.

It is hard to remember the names of those who have selflessly offered information to the problems we have had with our Benzs'.
So many of you here have helped me directly and indirectly by sharing your experiences or suggestions. To those of you...thank you.

Now where did I leave that wrench

I have been helped with my MB by numerous members of this board, offering their information, and sometimes even offering to help me find the parts I needed. I will always be eternally grateful .
Thanks, and God Bless,
Dave.

I've got plenty of thank-yous to send around, many to people who don't even know they helped. Thanks to the magic of the search function I've been able to learn from the past, so to speak.

One person I do want to highlight is Arthur Dalton, who has responded to my questions on many occassions when I have been unable to find the answers in the archives. I'm not sure if he is the resident W202 expert or not, but he was always there when I needed him. Thanks, Arthur.

I have search the web for help on different vehicles...

However, Mercedesshop is, BY FAR, the best forum I found so far for any vehicle...The only reason I still have my 86 300e is because of this site. Period!
So many good people here...it is refreshing!

Thank you!

Yes, indeed

Great site, and thanks for the help, and hopefully I've added back some help for repairs I've done.

Here here, I not only passed smog, got my idle and timing in spec, and improved performance, I learned how to troubleshoot the gas mix and multiple other problems on my 560SEL.

Thanks all.

As a first time MB owner, I am grateful and relieved to find this site. I wanted to be proactive about this car and since I know next to nil about cars, I guess the earlier the better...so I registered a day after I got my wagon.
