190E 2.3-16v Suspension noise

I have a 16v and it is making a creaking noise coming from the right rear suspension. It happens every time the suspension move even the smallest amount, then there is a slightly different pitch noise as the suspension moves the other direction. I have heard the klunk/banging noise of a shot shock on the 16v and it is nothing like that as it happens when ever the suspension move up or down any amount, and does not seem to be effecting the performance of the car, but it has been happening for a very long time, now its just to the point where its almost constantly making noise and its very annoying.

Any ideas?
