hi,
I have a BIG rpoblem. My 1986 560 SEL's wipers stopped working. Theny stopped right in the middle i pushed them back in place, it had no resistace. I think the motor was trying but, couldnt get them going. Now when i put them on, the come out from under the hood but suddenly stops. what should i do?!?!?!

i had this same problem with my 62' 220 i ended up having to break the little round nuts lose and had to relube everything theres really no bearing in the part the wiper arms are attached to (just below the windshield) just some interlocking gears like how the flywheel is attached to the crankshaft. and can lock up if water ever finds its way under the gears i would start there it would be the cheapest and easiest fix for that problem other than that the arms or motor might be binded up which isnt that hard to repair but can take you the better part or a day or two just to get to the motor and fix the problem
