W201 - Adjusting Park Setting for Mono-Wiper
Hi all,
On my 1987 190D the mono-wiper functions properly when running. In other words, speed is good and it covers the full range of the windshield. The problem comes when I turn the wiper off. It parks itself a good six inches too high. Is this adjustable and if so can someone share with me the details? Thanks. |

On my W201 I have managed to remove the access panel and have unbolted the motor and wiper assembly from the body including the little piece that attaches to the firewall.
Should the motor and assembly be removed as one piece? If so, I just can not figure out how to manuever them out, especially the motor. Is there another piece I need to remove? I could disconnect the wiper asemply linkage from the motor but, based on the vertical wiper instructions, it is not at all clear if this is something I should or should not be doing? Any help much appreciated. |

Answer:
Remove the motor nut.
Remove the link arm from motor. Remove three bolts holding motor to link assembly. Remove link assembly. Remove motor. |
