How to determine correct Blower Motor (1987 260E)

CAR: 1987 260E, automatic 2.6L

Well, the Blower Motor in my car is acting up. It makes lots of noise and just an embarrassment when the passenger is around. Personally I think it can go any moment now.
I looked at some units online and saw something about Pollen/Cabin Filter. How do I decide if my car has Pollen/Cabin filter as I haven't opened up the area where the blower motor is?

The vendor says in his ad: "This blower motor fits the following models (as listed below) WITHOUT a pollen/cabin air filter. PLEASE NOTE: THIS BLOWER MOTOR ASSEMBLY WILL NOT REPLACE THE BLOWER MOTOR ON MODELS THAT HAVE A POLLEN/CABIN FILTER."
