Cylinder numbering current production V6

Cylinder numbering current production V6

Can anyone tell me how to determine what the cylinder numbering is for a 2007/8 or something recent for a V6. I'm guessing that right bank (US passenger side) front is 1 and 2 and 3 are next with 4, 5, and 6 on the left (US driver side) side.
