Help after clearing codes....
TIA
After pulling codes, disconnected battery, installed some parts, including Bosch rebuilt MAf (Thanks WHUNTER), new battery Then cleared all codes possible (Some did not want to clear). How long should the car idle to let the brains (cans, ECM modules) learn or remap? How long of a drive should the Benz be taken for after idling to relearn, or remap? Answer:
General rule:
Fifteen minutes stop/go city. Fifteen minutes highway driving. I prefer to double that on my personal cars, because it works better for me. Have a great day.

Thanks whunter, FYI it seems the longer you can drive the MB, the better the brains.. adapt to driving and the better the MB drives.
Thanks again for your time and advice. |
