does an 86 420sel have a check engine light. i have never seen one

My 86 560SEL has a red light at the far right end of the instrument cluster of lights, says O2 Sensor. Basically the same thing as check engine.

I have a 86' 420SEL. Actually, the engine indicator light is orange. Its the light that has a round circular symbol near the ABS light. In fact, its the same for all W(126)'s.

is it supposed to light at startup?
