And yes 55 seemed too little to me.
I also believe a lot more than 55 should have been built just to keep the company open.

That guy claims to have a genue 1985 500SEC AMG and he asks 75000 euros for it! (aprox 100000 us dollars). When he is asked to explain such an "extraordinary" price, he says "only 55 built so its worth it".

I do not think so... not that much...

Now i have sufficient and reliable info to oppose him.
