Seats in my '87 300E?

The seat springs in my '87 300E seems pretty shot.......otherwise the MB tex is in great shape.

Anyone ever re-spring these things or is this the best they get.

Thanks,
Aaron

IN reality, not many rear seats are used that much. I would look around for a good used one from a bone yard.

'87 Seats

My driver's seat on my '87E (180K) almost bottoms out. I stopped by an upholstery shop and they will remove, rebuild and reinstall my seat for $150.
That is the way I will go.

seat wedge

Kent,
I got the part number from the url you listed. It is a foam wedge that goes into the seat when one rebuilds it to strengthen the sides. I stopped by the dealer. Yes it is a valid part number but it is available no where in the world!
