Had a car hauled in with the main wiring harness under the battery melted and also the trans. dipstick melted. The car is still drivable and drove approx. 5 mi. and extreme hot temps came from below the battery location. Is or could this be the cat overheating. The car runs perfect. I have a 50% reading on the on off ratio

Possibly an injector leaking.
