Keys - Dealer only?

93 300E New to me and only one key.

Dealer only for a spare/valet keys?

You might as well. The keys for the older cars aren't very expensive at the dealer.

Stoney, you'll need to show the dealer's Parts Department proof-of-ownership and likely prepay before they will order any new keys for you.

i just went to my MB mechanic (not the stealer) and he just called up Mercedes and ordered a key for me...$19 (1993 190E 2.6)

Thanks for the FB. Dealer isn't a problem, there is one close by. (Based on my experience with FoMoCo getting replacement Fleet keys, I usually end up with a locksmith as most dealers-including the one that sold us 35 Rangers, F150's and F 350's did everything NOT to help the customer).

Again, Thanks for the quick response, hopefully I can do the same for you folks someday.

I paid $20 at my local good key shop for my '95 spare key.
