DEPO Euro Headlights W124
I have completed installation of my DEPO headlights.
You can see the difference in the photo below, with old light on the right and new light on the left. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality, fit and finish of the lights. One problem I had was that the slots on the side that hold the tabs on the turn signal were not tall enough and I had to trim the tabs on the turn signals. As most people know, the orginal lights use a 4-pin plug (see below). I believe that Euro lights typically include the proper 6-pin plugs so that you may move the wires from the original plugs to the new plugs. I bought these lights from http://importvision.com This seller provides no new connectors or even a phone number to call. We went round and round by email about this. Finally, it became clear to me that they expected me to simply plug the bare wires onto the back of the lights individually. I was quite surprised. I can't imagine just leaving a bunch of hot wires exposed, waiting to short out or blow fuses or start fires or whatever. From the last email: ME: "I do understand that I am supposed to pull my existing plugs apart. I am then supposed to move the wires into a 6-pin plug but I don't have the 6-pin plugs to put the wires in. It was not included with the lights." THEM: "You can plug them in individually and the 5th plug will attach to the city light on the corners." So, I'll find some proper plugs somewhere but BE ADVISED - if you order from them be sure you are getting the new connectors. I used the H3s out of my old lights and bought some new Sylvania Cool Blue H4s at the Walmarts for about $13 a pair. Overall, I feel good about the DEPO lights.

Nice job! Thanks for the heads up on the connectors. Someone here on this site was selling these plugs, would these work?
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=182170 I'm looking at getting the same ones from importvision, they have some items on ebay also. Debating on ordering the ebay items or their website (then I can combine shipping for some lights for the Ford also).

Looks good...
But you have to remove the WL wiper, correct? Wa it by choice or it does not work/fit the E Code HL?
How is the improvement in coverage/beam spread? |

The original wipers will not work.
The performance of the lights is excellent. These "cheap" Depos work just as well as the Hellas on my other car and compared to the original lights, the improvement is dramatic.
