98 slk 230 alarm

i recently had a code reader used on my car and now the car alarm goes off when ever it feels like it, iwas told by somebody that it messes up the alarm program , but that there is a sequence you can use to reprogram the alarm. is this true ? if so is there someone who can help me out and tell me how to do it ? thanks, mike

Most SLK alarm problems come from a central locking computer that is filled with water from a trunk leak.

Only a MB scanner can diagnosis & code that system.
