I have a 1976 280c Benz. I am wondering what kind of engine is in my car. V6 V8 etc Please Help Gary.

You have a 2.8liter straight six, with dual overhead cams, two valves per cylinder, four barrel progressive carburator.
At least thats what MB put in it. I saw one recently with a LT1 chevy V8 in it with sequential injection and all.
