Won't start. The engine turns, fuel is going to the distributor, fuses look good and there is spark. If I pour a little gas in the intake the engine starts and dies out when the fuel is used up. The fuel distributor use to hum when the motor was running but it is not making any noise when I apply power.
Found out that there is no fuel going to the injectors. I disconceted the injector lines from the fuel distributor and powered the fuel pump and no fuel came out of the distributor. What would cause this?????? |

Possibly low fuel pressure..the old CIS systems operate at 80+ psi...
If the pressure isn't high enough then the injectors won't open.
