Possible to replace just the headlight lens glass on 202?

Mine is cracked, and I found this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-W202-C230-C280-C36-C43-left-Headlight-Lens_W0QQitemZ320097478486QQcategoryZ33710QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

What all would be involved? Sealing is the obvious issue...

thanks

I wish I'd known this before, and I would have done it months ago. I may ditch my solid-amber corners and go clear, and with some new lenses, it will look like new! (kinda)

Not all W202's have replaceable lenses. My '95 C280 has to have the whole headlamp assembly replaced...

Lenses-

Make sure the lens that you are buying isn't plastic!!!! What a horror that was when i ordered one off ebay and it ended up being plastic!!!!

It was for a 1994 E320 (W124)

Definitely glass, with a gasket, Bosch part I believe. Nice! I suppose since only half the 202s have replaceable lenses, and that they are later models, this hasn't come up for replacement for many people. One of mine has a rock-hole, and oddly enough, after it got washed-out by the rain, it's very clear, making the other look dingy. Good cosmetic refresher for $130 a set!

I did mine and sold the car recently, and they were part of the reason the car sold. Transformed the look. While you're at it, spray your faded gray lens bezels with "automotive silver" and make them look better than new!
