Anybody try these lights in a 124?
They seem pretty cheap. Maybe they are, I don't know. I wonder if they would give the same light pattern as the hella or bosch euros?
What do you folks think ![]()

Thanks for the suggestion. I have 100w/80w bulbs with HD wiring in my factory lights now. Would these be as bright or brighter than what I have now? Could I put higher wattage bulbs in the euros? I drive a lot at night in deer country and night vision is very important to me. Thanks for the help.

The Euros will give a little more light on high-beam than the DOT lights. The fog lamps with clear lenses/bulbs are the bigger help for deer-spotting, good wide white beam. On low-beam the DOT/US lights aren't much worse than the Euros, the biggest difference for the low-beam is less glare for oncoming traffic and less stray light upward for glare in fog/snow (the reason our lights are illegal in most of the world).
My experience is with Bosch and Hella Euros, I haven't had the aftermarket brands like these but expect that they're pretty much the same performance.

I don't think it is a very good idea for a couple of reasons. First they would take away from the originality and second, a friends of mine did this and not only did they look ugly when installed but the lenses also blurred pretty bad within a year and took on a hazy yellow color. Needless to say he put the originals back on. These light tend to also be extremely cheaply made. I hope I answered your question.

Without a doubt- STAY ORIGINAL!!!! A Benz looks its best and retains most of its true value when the original parts are kept on the car. If you want a change, go with EURO lights for a different yet original look. Bounce on thos ugly aftermarkets. Besides, they will not come with Glass Lamp covers....
my $.02 cents....
