94 e320 strange electical problem please help
Hello everyone I'm new to this forum and was seeking your advice I recently bought the 94 e320 but strange electrical behavior is happening .... I removed a few panels and it seems the car used to have keyless entry and/or an alarm and someone went ahead and removed it trying to put everything back right .... the car won't start if either of the back doors or trunk is open (its the e320 sedan) ... it sounds like the sun roof is trying to move the moment I do start the car (so i unplugged it) ... the rear dome light doesn't work ... when I hit the switch for the rear dome light it seems to make the alarm light stop blinking when supposedly armed and I hear the sunroof trying to move ... when I do have the sunroof plugged in it only attempts to move when either back doors are open or the trunk is open or if I hit the rear dome light switch (but still does not open properly and motion is only obtained by pressing and releasing the button a hundred times) ... when the drivers door is open and I hit the brake, the warning buzzer sounds off also don't know if that is normal ... found the alarm module today and saw 3 wires cut so I soldered them no real difference but made the alarm light now work (a red, yellow w/ blue, and a yellow w/ black were cut) no strange warning lights but the buzzer that I mentioned and that the buzzer sounds while starting the car which doesn't seem to be normal for how long and loud it does it ... there was also a brown wire by the vacuum lock under rear seat that didn't look like was making a good connection so I soldered that one too .... tomorrow I will look at the doom light switch remove the front display I mean and might remove the back of the back seat to see if I can see what’s going on ... I'm sorry for the rambling, but I don't know what else to do any help would be greatly appreciated
